A Week of A-Frame 106 - 110
What's up with A-Frame, a WebVR framework for building virtual reality experiences, from Apr 6, 2018 to May 4, 2018.I'm *unbelievably* excited to share a preview release of Hubs by Mozilla, a new Mixed Reality-based communications platform we are building. All open source, and all running in your browser, powered by WebVR. Really!https://t.co/AtYqAn2qam

For those who missed it, you can check my little #webVR experiment "Ye Olde Puppetrilla" here - https://t.co/TGBKHG4KyU It won first prize at the @mozillareality webVR challenge and was made with @aframevr. You'll need an #HTCVive, #Oculus Rift or #microsoft #mixedreality headset pic.twitter.com/j257wxzoTo

Soundboxing (Beta) is one of the premiere #webvr @aframevr apps. We helped a bit on it, only took it a few days to get into shipshape. Now people are getting themselves into shipshape! Via @supermediumvr on Oculus / Steam. https://t.co/QuL2xk0T6B

Can you get to the Top 10?? SUPER SAYS, a simon clone for VR, available on @supermediumvr for 6dof controllers (#Oculus #HTCVive #mixedreality) https://t.co/DHivKcO0Bh 1 day to create, 2 weeks to polish ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ pic.twitter.com/gY7gkLqk60

Still a work in progress, but Google Poly search and resizing is working ð¤ #aframevr #WebVR pic.twitter.com/DHQt5uWsvg

#screenshotsaturday @aframevr Finished off all the enemies in Trajectile Command this weekend. There's missiles, multi-missiles, bombers and smart bombs. The terrible aiming is the computer firing at random. #webvr pic.twitter.com/AWnF6IBf1h

Looked a little empty here so I built a small neighborhood with @aframevr @poly and #ARjs pic.twitter.com/KwGeZdNJz5

I've been posting a lot of #dataviz fails, but on the whole this #webvr visualization of lineages traversing fitness landscapes is pretty effective. And now it's got an actual UI! Built with @aframevr. https://t.co/bMqehbXoKT pic.twitter.com/vxWCfGd5YM

Messing around with wasm-bindgen, realized I can create a whole @aframevr scene from inside Rust, and sure enough it works like a charm! pic.twitter.com/aj9uSKZV2T

Working on an @aframevr installation! A sculptural piece made using head tracking — this is using a simple line but I hope to get to generative geometry by this weekend :)https://t.co/z3NTkfbVDS pic.twitter.com/Y0QPl9wr3S

Added declarative for-loop rendering from arrays to @aframevr State Component, which is becoming a lot like its own @vuejs-like framework. https://t.co/K9T92UJI3n

Added comparisons to @aframevr state component:

Events
I'll be speaking about WebVR at the next @ITNEXT_io meetup. Will contain some material from @fronteers, but will also delve more into @aframevr components and other frameworks. Less VR-fanboying, more VR-dev.
— Ruben van der Leun (@rvdleun) April 9, 2018
Also, the PWA talk is gonna be awesome!https://t.co/2K52RdVEup
Heading in few weeks to @OpenVisConf 🗼🇫🇷 and eager to see how @AframeVR can be used for data visualization? Check @rabimba 's workshop "Visualize your Data in a 3D #VR world using A-Frame in #WebVR"! https://t.co/GEjN4OWkhj pic.twitter.com/tNIvKNn9IT

Miscellaneous
Tried #VivePro last night with various apps like with #ChromaLab, #DestinationsVR, as well as my own @aframevr project via @supermediumvr. The headset feels lighter and theres less eye strain. Clarity of UI and typography is a game changer for VR design and it improves immersion. pic.twitter.com/zQ13wUHqq8

Working I a cafe: I built a xylophone with @aframevr and the web audio API for a tutorial, and now have a kid playing with it occupying my MacBook. 😝

I've ported my @aframevr live-demo viewer to the @lenovo headset that comes with Jedi Challenges. I can now edit a scene, and directly see the results by looking aside.
Honestly, this is the sort of thing that I wanna see in the future. pic.twitter.com/koqLqNK6Tq
