A Week of A-Frame 129 - 132
What's up with A-Frame, a WebVR framework for building virtual reality experiences, from Sep 14, 2018 to Oct 12, 2018.Sorry, I haven’t been able to get these roundups out! Been focusing on building an A-Frame game and working on A-Frame itself. This is part 1 of 2 of catching up. I plan on building a tool to help me get these out faster and more frequently.
Woohoo! The @W3Awards'18 winners have been announced and we are proud to have won 🥇&🥈 for the multiple award-winning Camry WebGL Configurator (https://t.co/HZ1iCKJYnW) built using @aframevr and #threejs 🥳 pic.twitter.com/F1SL3NFUZR

Some features coming together in Frame, the WebVR collaboration tool I'm working on: playing a song, importing a #gltf model from the @Sketchfab store, using the "Fly Mode" feature to explore it, + importing an image (one that shows Frame's hardware support). Really wanted outlines for object selection in @aframevr; but post-processing effects destroy performance on the GO. This "inverse-shell" method should work for now :)

Miscellaneous
@supermediumvr made WebVR suddenly viable in my mind, by making it feel like a native desktop experience.

Have started tinkering with @aframevr, super easy to get a scene going, not as easy to get interaction. I've gotten distracted since but will have to pick it up again soon.
@aframevr and its community remains independent. Worth checking all the progress made in the last 3 years. @toyota (https://t.co/XEUoYXgN81) or @ford (https://t.co/CKorkxw1Zp) recently kicked the tires (literally 🙂)
— Diego (@dmarcos) October 8, 2018
Pretty cool to see @Vimeo venturing into #WebVR and in particular going deeper (see what I did there...) than 360s cf https://t.co/31beCeqeEi and https://t.co/5K5IBBaGd0 even with presence on the @AFrameVR Slack 👍
